The Service presents ‘Savile Row Bespoke: Tailored Casual’, an exhibition curated by Aleks Cvetkovic

To celebrate the extraordinary breadth of Savile Row bespoke tailoring, journalist Aleks Cvetkovic has curated an exhibition of contemporary Savile Row garments in the gallery space at The Service.

With designs from a range of Savile Row tailoring houses and retailers, the exhibition presents the Row as a unique destination for those in search of exceptional tailoring that’s smart, yet relaxed – perfectly suited to the modern world.

In a year that’s turned our daily lives, working patterns and dress codes on their heads, the question of what it means to be ‘well dressed’ today has dominated the press and challenged all quarters of the fashion industry.

Of course, Savile Row has an extraordinary reputation for timeless formalwear, but the Row’s bespoke tailors offer much more than business suits and occasionwear alone. I believe that Savile Row makes some of the most elegant ‘tailored casualwear’ in the world.

From sophisticated separates to bold tweed sports coats and from double-breasted blazers to razor-sharp safari jackets, British bespoke tailoring has never been more dynamic than it is today.

The brands involved in the ‘Tailored Casual’ exhibition are Cad & The Dandy, Chittleborough & Morgan, Dege & Skinner, Drake’s, Davies & Son, Edward Sexton, Gieves & Hawkes, Hackett Bespoke, Henry Poole, Huntsman, Kathryn Sargent, Montague Ede, Norton & Sons, Richard Anderson, and Welsh & Jeffries.

The exhibition will RUN DAILY THROUGHOUT THE AUTUMN BETWEEN 10am TO 4pm at The Service, No.32 Savile Row, and is free to attend.
